The most lively area of lake Garda is Desenzano, a village with Roman origins. Here there are a lot of interesting things to do such as visiting the antiques market or taking part to the many artistic and historical events. Very interesting are also the ruins of a roman villa built in the IV century and the dome where you can admire the beautiful painting “L’ultima cena” by Tiepolo.
Last but not least a marvellous village is Gardone Riviera, with its Vittoriale di D’Annunzio, the house, now museum of the great poet Gabriele D’Annunzio.
